Change of Name/Address/Account

When Changing Your Name

"Change of Account/Name Notification for Pensioners" should be submitted to PMAC with an attachment of the family registry, etc. which indicates the name after the change.
Also attach a copy of your bankbook in which the account can be confirmed or receive an approval stamp on the notification from the financial institution at which the name change was made.
With this notification, the name used for the pension benefits received from other implementing institutions (Japan Pension Service and Federation of National Public Service Mutual Aid Associations) will be also changed. (The notification is forwarded to other implementing institutions by PMAC. The time required for this process may vary depending on the implementing institution.)

When Changing Your Address

For Persons Whose New Address Can be Confirmed on the Basic Resident Registration Network system

If address change information can be confirmed on the Basic Resident Registration network system (hereafter referred to as "Juki Net"), individual notification to PMAC from you isn't necessary in principle.
However, it may take time until the address after the change is confirmed and registered. During the period, all mails are sent to the previous address. Furthermore, phone numbers cannot be confirmed on Juki Net anyway. When registering a new phone number, submit an address change notification using "Address Change Notification for Pensioners" as well as the case you wish to register the new address promptly.
With this notification, the address used for the pension benefits received from other implementing institutions (Japan Pension Service and Federation of National Public Service Mutual Aid Associations) will be also changed. (The notification is forwarded to other implementing institutions by PMAC. The time required for this process may vary depending on the implementing institution.)
If you need a form "Address Change Notification for Pensioners", please contact PMAC.

Note1:
For address changes in September 2011 or earlier, "Address Change Notification for Pensioners " must be submitted to PMAC
Note2:
When the address after the change cannot be confirmed on Juki Net, "Address Change Notification for Pensioners" and a certificate of residence must be submitted.
